Frequently Asked Questions

Who can apply for Erasmus+?
For students in our department, the main requirement is to have a minimum GPA of 2.20/4.00 for undergraduate students. Having failed courses does not prevent you from applying. The application calendar is announced every year between January and February.
What are the benefits of Erasmus+?
The Erasmus+ experience contributes to language development, international academic exposure, intercultural awareness, personal growth, and career advantages after graduation.
Will the courses I take abroad be recognized?
Courses taken within the Erasmus+ programme are evaluated based on the Learning Agreement prepared before mobility. In our department, academic flexibility is provided to ensure that students do not lose a semester.
Can I apply if my language level is not very strong?
Many students hesitate to apply due to language concerns. However, since the evaluation is conducted at the department level, applicants are typically assessed among peers with similar language levels. Therefore, applying may be more advantageous than you think.
Is Erasmus financially difficult?
Although this is a common concern, Erasmus+ grants, country-based support, and proper financial planning make the process manageable. It is recommended to research living costs beforehand.
What should I research before applying?
You should review your preferred university, course contents, language of instruction, living conditions, accommodation options, and mobility schedule in advance.
