A Cooperation Protocol Has Been Signed Between Tarsus University and SPL
A cooperation protocol has been signed between Tarsus University and the Capital Markets Licensing Registry and Training Agency Inc. (SPL) with the aim of improving our students’ financial literacy, supporting their professional development, and contributing to their preparation for career opportunities in capital markets.
Within the scope of the protocol, it is aimed to raise students’ awareness of SPL licensing examinations, support their preparation process, and guide them toward the finance sector in a more qualified and informed manner. Accordingly, students of the Department of Finance and Banking will be able to apply for SPL Electronic Licensing Examinations with a discounted examination fee.

-
However, passing the examination alone is not sufficient to obtain the license certificate. The graduation requirement specified for the relevant license type must also be fulfilled.
-
For the Capital Market Activities Level 1 License and the Residential Real Estate Appraisal License, at least a two-year higher education degree is required. For all other licenses, at least a four-year higher education degree is required.

The examinations are conducted electronically on computers. Therefore, candidates are expected to have basic computer skills.
-
Candidates should determine the appropriate license type by considering their career goals and the capital market field in which they wish to work.
Why Is It Important?
SPL licenses are important professional qualification indicators for students who aim to pursue careers in capital markets, banking, investment institutions, portfolio management, investment advisory, corporate finance, and related financial fields. Our students are encouraged to carefully evaluate this opportunity.
