Exam Rules

  1. Each student must take the exam in the assigned examination hall.
  2. Students are allowed to enter the exam within the first 15 minutes after it has started.
  3. No student is permitted to leave the examination hall during the first 20 minutes of the exam.
  4. Students must be seated in the examination hall at least five minutes before the exam begins.
  5. Students are required to bring their Student ID Card. The ID must remain visible on the desk throughout the exam.
  6. The “Name-Surname and Student Number” section on the exam papers must be completed before the exam starts, using only a ballpoint or fountain pen.
  7. Mobile phones must be completely switched OFF during the exam and kept out of sight. Keeping phones on silent mode is also a violation. Students found with mobile phones during the exam will be reported and disciplinary action will be initiated. All responsibility regarding mobile phones belongs to the student.
  8. Exam supervisors/invigilators have the right to collect mobile phones before or during the exam and keep them until the end if deemed necessary.
  9. Calculators permitted in exams must only have functions necessary for the exam. Devices with advanced features such as data storage, graphing capabilities, or similar functions (including handheld computers) are prohibited unless otherwise stated.
  10. Students must comply with all instructions given by exam supervisors/invigilators from the beginning of the exam.
  11. Invigilators have the authority to change seating arrangements before or during the exam to maintain order. Students must comply with such instructions.
  12. Any writings on desks must be cleaned by students before the exam. Writing or marking on desks before or during the exam is strictly prohibited.
  13. Students are not allowed to keep any books, documents, lecture notes, or similar materials (related or unrelated to the exam) on or under the desk, or in desk compartments (except in open-book exams). Such materials must be placed in designated areas before the exam.
  14. Students must have all necessary materials (pen, eraser, ruler, calculator, tables, etc.) with them before the exam begins. Sharing materials during the exam is strictly prohibited.
  15. Students who disrupt the exam, ignore warnings, or attempt to cheat will be reported by invigilators, and disciplinary proceedings will be initiated.
  16. At the end of the exam, students must submit their papers in the manner specified by the invigilators and leave the examination hall quietly.
  17. Students are not allowed to wait, talk, or make noise in front of examination rooms.
