Institution to Conduct Research: University of Barcelona, Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB), Spain
Project Duration: 12 Months
During the research, a new method will be developed to measure energy poverty by determining the weights of subjective and objective criteria affecting energy poverty in each household size. Thus, by allowing the phenomenon of energy poverty to be defined correctly and the problem to be identified correctly, it will contribute to the accurate and effective determination of policies to be implemented in order to reduce energy poverty, encourage the use of renewable energy, and create social protection programs.
