Prof. Dr. Egemen İPEK, Chair of the Department of Finance and Banking, was a guest on TRT Çukurova Radio’s “Hayatın İçinden” programme.
During the live broadcast held on Monday, 22 June 2026 at 12.00, the importance of financial literacy for individuals and society was discussed. The programme addressed key issues such as making sound financial decisions, balancing income and expenses, preparing a family budget, developing saving habits, using credit cards responsibly, and adopting conscious consumption practices.
The discussion also focused on the role of families and educational institutions in improving financial awareness among young people, the impact of digital banking and financial applications on personal financial management, the advantages of financial literacy during periods of economic uncertainty, and possible steps to improve financial literacy in Türkiye.
